Patterson’s patented Tensors are the best answer when you’re looking for an industrial tool to secure loads on ships or rail cars. They make your work easier, faster, and safer in any application that requires tensioning or pulling. They’re useful for mining, and the Coast Guard uses them too. We’ve even heard of our Tensors being used for guy-wire tensioning for portable radar antennas.

Uniquely engineered—and fast

Our innovative design features a screw-type action with eccentric loading. While turning the drive head, the large outer barrel telescopes over the inner barrel and pulls the anchoring points together. It’s ingenious, and it makes your job easier.

Our tensors are also built for speed. Unlike turnbuckles, our tensors work with an impact wrench. There really isn’t anything faster.
